I'm Dawn. I live near Seattle. I'm married to Derek, my high school sweetheart. We've been married for sixteen years and have been together for over twenty. The romance is still there. Somehow that guy just keeps finding ways to make me love him even more as time goes on. Our two kids are Grace (13) and Trent (8). I love being a mom and I think my kids are pretty fantastic.
What's most important to me is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Next, is my family and friends. Fashion, art, cooking, photography, gardening, reading...these are all the frosting on the cake.
I write here because doing so helps me to take notice of the sweet things in life. I take pictures for the same reason. I also love the community aspect of blogging.
