First weekend in March

Absence only seemed to make the heart grow fonder when it came to Grace and ballet. She hasn't been to class since we moved over two months ago. She thought she was going to need to wait until the fall to audition for her top choice school. Fall seemed a long ways off. This week we were made aware of a summer program at this school. Auditions were held on Saturday. Now we must wait for several more weeks to find out the results. Whatever happens, I'm so proud of her.
Brunch at a favorite restaurant, Dr. Piper at Mars Hill, an afternoon nap, some shopping, a short visit with Derek's Grandma, some wandering around the cute neighborhood she lives in, and a chance meeting with our favorite bulldog named Olivia was about the extent of it all today. It was a good weekend.
