I write here because doing so helps me to take notice of the sweet things in life. I take pictures for the same reason. I also love the community aspect of blogging. {read more}
What happened to my little Grace? She looks beautiful! (She always has though). Her name has always been one of my favorites as it is used to define all the good that God extendes to us. Let her know that even as she becomes a beautiful women, she still needs a good hug from her Papa.
oh my goodness Dawn, these are so incredibly beautiful. Not only is your daughter stunning, but the portraits themselves are taken just perfectly. The first one - surely you will frame it, hang it on your wall? I love it. I would almost want it on my own wall!
Congratulations again to her by the way for all her hard work which has resulted in her dancing on (or is it en?) pointe. She looks like a real true ballerina and I hope she is able to take it as far as she desires.
I am newly respectful. A new level of amazement. I had thought these were studio shots - but you shot them yourself. And you did far better with them than I EVER would have done. They are all lovely - both the subject and the technique. But the first one is, in my own opinion, the piece de resistance. She is timeless in this one, a plutonic ideal of young womanhood - the embodiment of her name.

I'm blown away by how these pictures truly embody her name. I am also sure with an amazing mom like you she shines as well from the inside.
Thank you everyone. I'm so happy that you liked the photos. : )
Did you shoot the pictures Dawn?
Michelle, yes, I did.
A poem!!
SO beautiful. I love these photos. Grace is just lovely. Makes me wish we were keeping Camille in ballet. Maybe again soon...
