Wedding in Snohomish
Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:43AM We attended a wedding this weekend, at Craven Farms in Snohomish. The beautiful surroundings, the clothing, the food, the music...all such a feast for the senses But the focus was most decidedly on something deeper. The focus was on our friend's commitment to Christ and to each other, which only made it all the more beautiful. And it was fun! Inspired by what they saw, my kids were both planning their own future weddings on the car ride home.
The detail that went into making this such a special day was so well thought out, so beautiful. I thought you'd enjoy seeing some of the photos of the decor......
The bride and groom, from far off. I don't want to overstep and share personal photos without permission. They are a gorgeous couple though, inside and out.

This looks like so much fun! I love the sign "choose your love and love your choice"! They look like a fun couple and I wish them the best!
Such wonderful photos! A wedding is such a blessed thing. I especially love how they had a games area for the children. You look beautiful, your dress is a lovely colour.
Amazing decor! I know how much work that takes. It looked like a lot of fun and you look gorgeous in the dress!
Oh, it looks like a delight! My kids are planning something as sweet in its own way. Thursday night, invited friends for a bash at her home - with good food and a caricaturist and a long blank banner, waiting for guests to color and paint it in, and a long cake with fixings, waiting for guests to decorate it - but no such lovely dancing. I love the informal but elegant fun in your photos. And as always, a marriage made in a triangle, with the Lord in the strong corner, is beauty itself. If only more people in the world understood - such joy. Such hope.
Dawn, your blog captures so much of the amazing day! Thanks for sharing, and I hope you don't mind that I've been sharing it with a lot of friends and coworkers :)
Thank you everyone. : )
Kristen- I'll be thinking of you on Thursday. Your son's wedding celebration sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I hope you share lots of photos!
