Fashion Week Bellevue 2011
Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:22AM Fashion Week (Sept. 28-Oct. 2) in Bellevue is just around the corner. I'm pretty excited that I'll be going to the Zebra Club show at Piano Bash this year. I'm not sure how it happened (probably something to do with writing about Fashion's Night Out) but somehow, I scored a couple of tickets to what looks to be a very fun show- date night with my husband!
Bellevue, WA September, 2011- Zebra Club is proud to announce its most highly anticipated event of the year, Boudoir Fashion Show. The event is part of Fashion Week 2011 at The Bellevue Collection in partnership with Vogue, and will take place on Friday, September 30 at Piano Bash. The evening will feature Zebra Club’s latest fashions, riveting performances by Seattle’s top bands, along with tantalizing food and drink specials, all of which will embody a cabaret styled theme set in the 20’s.
Tickets are on sale now at both Zebra Club Seattle and Bellevue locations, as well as at Munchbar and Piano Bash Bellevue locations.
VIP tickets cost $50 in advance, which include entrance to the show, an exclusive "Boudoir" swag bag and free entrance to the after party. Tickets cost $75 day of show. Piano Bash doors open at 8pm.

Derek and I decided to do a little homework last night by checking out the Zebra Club- so that we could figure out what to wear. Below, are a few of my favorite looks that are currently available at the store. *Clicking on the images will take you to the original source.

G- Star fall 2011
Derek got some new jeans, though they actually look quite old. ; ) Funny, how that works.
I decided to just stick with a LBD that I already had and just bought some new accessories to make it more current.. I specifically picked out a bordeaux colored, chunky bead necklace to go with some beautiful shoes that I bought a while ago, but never wore, because they didn't go with anything I owned. Bordeaux seems to be everywhere I look this season. Accessories are my favorite way to indulge in fashion trends that may be here today, gone tomorrow.
And now I have a project I'm looking forward to doing today, to complete the look. I'm going to make this clutch that I saw on Ruche the other day. Only I'm going use a bordeaux colored zipper, to match my necklace and shoes.

I made the clutch! I love the way it turned out. I just have a couple of hints that I would add to the tutorial. I ruined a couple of zippers by getting hot glue on them in the last step. What finally worked for me was using duct tape on the inside to get the zipper in place, then following up with a very careful application of super glue along the inside of the "seam" when it was all finished. The other thing that I woud suggest is to completely line the inside of the purse with duct tape (several layers) to give it more structure.

Those clothes are lovely, I especially like the red dress although I think it would be too casual for such an event. I hope you will show us pictures of your outfit. I love your heart for beauty.
my son is very into style right now. he sports the look above frequently. have a really fun night. i would so have to buy something new. nothing in my closet is even close to fashionable :)
I kept trying to write how I think your clothing is way more stylish, but it just kept coming out wrong. Based on your photos you look great for all events!
The orange dress is very cute and would be great for daytime shopping.
I don't care for torn jeans; but washed to look old, I do like!
I really don't like the shoes . The feet look deformed which then makes the leg look unattractive.
Thank you Sarah, Sue, and Denise. : ) I will make sure to get pictures of the event and what I wear to it. It's still two weeks away though.
Clever girl, to make the clutch. But I had to laugh at the G-star "look." My kids have been throwing that together for years!! Have great fun - I think you already are!
Thank you Kristen. : ) Yes, lot's of fun!
