july 4th, a photo essay

Just a quick hello today and a few photos from the fourth.  It was a wonderful day.  My husband is on vacation this week so I'm keeping my computer time to a minimum.  I hope your day was wonderful too!

Dawn - I am NOT DEAD. And I promise to catch up. Spent four hours in the sun and dust and mess today cleaning out the barn for new hay and setting up the pastures for the week we are going to be away, visiting Gin. Life has been like this - doggedly smashing one thing into another - and I'm really not sure, looking back, where I've been. Anyway, I just want to say that you look GREAT, and your day was obviously full of energy and one episode after another - I loved the pictures. I mean to put up mine, too - but I will do it in the most painful and over-blown way, the way I usually do - which, if the world continues to be as smashed, means I won't get the 4th done till Christmas -

Kristen- Well, that's good! I know that you've had an exciting project going on, that's also a whole lot of work, and I'm happy for you. Thank you for your sweet words. The fourth really was one episode after another, so fun. I look forward to seeing your photos, hoping I won't have to wait until Christmas. ; ) Have a great time at your daughter's house!
Denise- Yes, downtown Kirkland. That parade has such a sweet, small town feel to it.
